Wow, I can’t believe it’s been so long since I updated this LiveJournal! I have been haunting Facebook almost to the exclusion of other websites, and since I can’t afford to get a new computer (or pretty much anything else, for that matter) I make do with what I have, slowness and viruses and all ( Read more... )

Once again, I have been having serious computer issues. My original computer---that which was discussed in previous blog postings---is still in the shop. Happily, the "old" hard drive (the one used from 2003 to 2007, which has the first few chapters of my second novel on it) is still intact. The time away from the Internet did me some good. Unfortunately, my computer is still clinging to life at the repair shop, having been thoroughly debugged and then displaying severe startup problems the day I got it back.
