Well the sore ear did turn out to be an ear infection. Poor Gavin, first he had H1N1 and now an ear infection. Strange thing was there was no fever with the ear infection, just the pain. He's on amoxicillin for the infection and children's motrin for the pain and/or any fever ( Read more... )

*lol* Now that Tropical Storm Ida came ashore, she's moving very slowly. She came on shore near Dauphin Island, Ala. She's out over Mobile Bay and should make landfall again soon (I'd imagine near Foley, Ala.). If I disappear for a few days it's because Tropical Storm Ida is supposed to be moving right through the area where I live. As of Noon CST Monday the center of Ida was located about 115 miles to the southeast of the Mouth of the Mississippi River or about 220 miles south-southwest of Pensacola, Florida.
