Stupid lights

Well that was unexpected
I just refreshed at one of the adoptable sites/forums that I frequent and noticed that I had a PM. Thinking it was in response to a note I put in my signature a few minutes before I clicked on it. I stared at the message I received stunned to say the least. It was from one of the moderators of the forum (in fact the head mod) and it said:

Taste of his own medicine
Last year, I tried to hide one of hubby's unwrapped Christmas presents in Gavin's closet. Things worked well until one day Gavin called to Daddy because he wanted to show him something. I'm thinking the changing weather has pulled a doozy on me. I spent most of yesterday evening feeling a little run down and eventually my throat started hurting a bit. Rest in Peace Frank
I got a call from my mom last night. She wanted to let me know that my aunt's father had passed away. She's taking it very hard, probably because Frank worked with her brother at the paper before he and my aunt got married. While I don't have Frank's obituary just yet, I do have the article they wrote on his passing.

Brrrr!
The temperatures are starting to drop more and more. I'm glad I stocked up on long sleeve shirts for Gavin. He'll be wearing them more often now. This weekend the forecast highs aren't even going to hit 60°. When you're used to 70+° that seems cold. The house is sitting at 69°, I'm wearing long sleeves, and I still feel cold.
