The neighbors rottweillor is acting very sick in our back yard. She doesn't look good. Spouse called the neighbor. But, he won't do anything for several reasons: injured dogs bite even if they don't mean to, we don't know what is wrong with her (rabies, parvo, coyote attack). He is afraid if he doesn't anything the neighbor will get violent. ( Read more... )

Spouse very sweetly made me a carrot cake with cream cheese icing (yummy) & butter pecan ice cream (yum). We went out to eat with his mom at the local steak house.

I called my mom. She didn’t remember it was my birthday & I had to tell her my age 3 times. But she was happy to hear from me & pointed out old it made her that her baby is now 52.

 It is terrible, but that line from When Harry Met Sally keeps running through my head.   It was Harry's example of why his date was too young for him.  He asked her where she was when Kennedy was shot & that was her answer.  It is perhaps inappropriate, but I can't get rid of it.

This is the newest finished room in the house.  It doesn't actually have a function, but it is the center of the house and the through way between the two stories.  I don't know what to put on the wall over the stairs.  It seems a central part of the house, center of the house.  I can't decide what would be appropriate for this important location.
