I'm pretty much posting for posting's sake. Life is ok. I have straight A's in school and only a few weeks left. Ben and I have our first joint therapy session this week. Today was a light spot in the midst of all the crap that has been going on. I have a new perspective on this whole thing with Ben. I think that maybe he acts a little bit like a child sometimes because I treat him like one. On the way home from my parents' this weekend, Ben and I talked about what we could do to rekindle our marriage. Ever since Gabe was born, it just feels like we are polar opposite in terms of our motivations, interests, etc. All he wants to do is play xbox, and when he's not playing about xbox, he's talking about xbox. Moving?
It has become quickly apparent that we are outgrowing my parents' house. For starters, Ben's work schedule has changed from day shift to night shift (ie. he leaves for work around 7:30 pm, and gets home around 4 or 5 am) so he sleeps until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. I am about to tear my hair out!!!! We have decided to go to Washington, DC this weekend as we will be trading in the Isuzu this month and won't have a car big enough to accommodate the load we need to take back from DC (ie. $5000 worth of comic books and action figures that will be sold if we don't come get them soon). Her response to me: I don't know what's going on with you right now, but you're right... This isn't about me. I think you need to talk to someone because there's something else going on.
