Thesis (my masters, don't panic) is going ba... er, slowly as usual. I discovered a race condition in my code yesterday which causes scads of updates to simply disappear off the earth. Well, I've never quite been good at the journal business, but I miss y'all and thus here I am.  Tis early, so I'm off to read Heinlein and go to bed.  But, I suppose I should say something witty about my current life since it is my first journal and all.
