Roadside assitance recommendation
I had an excellent experience with Highway Heroes today and want to recommend them. They were quick and efficient! I know they service the north mopac toll road area (seems some services won't assist you on a toll road).

Beer ?
Question for my beer drinking friends. I want to have a friend pick up some beer at a microbrewery for another friend. How long will it last in my fridge? I will be several months between seeing the two. If it will go bad...I don't want to do it... Since I don't drink it, I don't have a clue.. -
People think they are honest...
and for the most part they are. Except when it comes to judging people by their looks. People will say all the time that they don't "judge a book by its cover" but more often than not, they are lying to themselves and the people they are talking to. No news...
more x-rays, more drugs and I now have a whole panel of phumys stumped... spot is still there. No change. Still coughing but not as bad. -
Not sure how I feel about
the fact my doc. spending his evening comparing and studying my xrays and CTs. On one hand it is nice to know he is going the extra mile...on the other it is a bit unsettling to know he is that puzzled. The upside is that he said he is not remotely ready to consider an open lung biopsy. Due to where spot is, he is not sure if the other kind would ( Read more... ) -
water water everywhere...when will the mold follow?
I opened the door to my room at school today at 6:15am to be greeted by about 1.5 inches of water. Seems a pipe under my suitemate's sink burst sometime last night. I know it was last night because I worked yesterday until 5:30 pm.I got lucky in that nothing of mine really got wet. The fridge did but just the bottom of it and it still works. ( Read more... ) -
