heart scan

Some of you know I had a heart CT done recently. While it is still very broken the heart is physically fine. They did find a mass in my left lung. I will not know how we are going to proceed until sometime next week. I cannot tell my family until I know something more concrete so I will be facing this alone.

1) you are not facing this alone - you're facing it with us, the people who read your LJ. we may not be there for you physically, but we are here.

2) you do NOT have to wait until you have something concrete to tell your family. if you WANT to tell your family, you want their support, whatever, you have every right and ability to tell them. "Something's wrong with my left lung, they don't know what it is yet" is more than enough. You don't have to wait to get family support if that is what you want.

i know i'm quiet, but i do lurk, and i do read what's going on with you penny. here's hoping for the best.

I cannot tell my family yet. My brother died of small cell lung cancer in January. I am the only child my has left and the only other family I have here is my brothers daughter... I cannot make them go through the unknown... it might be too hard on mom.
