Long time, no post. I had a relatively uneventful semester and have now finished my M.S. as of about a week ago, despite a panic toward the end when I thought I wasn't going to pass my Computer Vision class. I think the post office package delivery person secretly hates me. It seems that he waits outside my apartment until I leave for just 5 minutes, then attempts to deliver the package while I'm gone. I know this because it happens every single time. Now I get to wait until evening to go fetch the package myself from the post office. Again.

I find it amusing that the sound of a circuit breaker flipping, followed by 3 rapid beeps and my web server shutting down, is enough to wake me from a deep sleep, whereas I'm entirely oblivious to the occasional train going by across the street.

Just got two different copies of the same random catalog in the mail. One was addressed to "Graduate Student", and the other was addressed to "Shy Graduate Student" (Shy being the name of my former roommate).

I had a weird dream last night. It was about Angel and Connor, except that Connor was also Harry Potter in that weird way that dreams do that, and they were battling Voldemort, who in this instance was an evil vampire. Hmm.
