ok, so ive decided that local band type people definantly have better lyrics than 99.9% of any of the people who play on the radio. they actually sound, ok i know this sounds phony, but they sound real. they actually mean something and you know who they mean that to, because your watching them play it. its wonderful. i enjoy it. i wish i got to go

i concure. those types of bands do sound a bit more real. and thanks to you, i have been exposed to more music since i became a Queens University Undergraduate. hehehe.

i think that it's what you make out of the lyrics that singer or band performs. i find that some of the lyrics on the radio are very easy to relate to if ur in that situation/mood/whatever. I do enjoy all types of music from jam bands to rap and i can relate to almost all of them or i like the way it sounds. Music isn't always about lyrics too, it's about how the sound makes you feel as well. I like jam band lyrics but i like the way rap makes me wanna to get out and going dancing and enjoy myself. i think the statement about local band type people is all relative and totally subjective.
