I hope we get to hear THAT.
Don't worry the next chapter will pick up right where this one left off.
Glad you liked this chapter and I'm grateful for the feedback.

Just love it when Jack sees sweet things like that. And I'm glad that Ennis reassured Jack that he'd always be his friend.
Jack felt unworthy because of how his father treated him, but finally realizes that he doesn't have to feel that way anymore. I'm eager to find out what will happen when Jack and Ennis talk with OMT.
Enjoying this, as always!

I am glad that Jack was in Ennis' face at the table. he didn't like him not acknowledging him. :D And they both had secrets, Jack with Billy and Ennis with Charlie. Though I think Billy is going to be trouble for them.
Charlie might have had his own thang at one point. Like Ennis and Jack do now

I am wondering too, like some of the other readers if Billy might yet cause them trouble but to offset that I am hoping that Charlie might be a good friend to the boys.
A really enjoyable read.
Thank you

He had also won the friendship of a better man then his father could ever hope to be and that alone told him that he wasn’t unworthy of the things he had sought from his father but rather that his father was unworthy of the importance Jack had afforded his love.
Your Jack is coming to terms with the idea that he won’t be able to control or change how his father views him but he (Jack) can change how much importance he puts into his father’s opinion of him. This realization that OMT’s regard was the one who was unworthy is the beginning of real growth for Jack. Yea!
