We went over to San Francisco to Doctor Kistler who is a friend of Gaylord's and Grandma's. His office is on the 25th floor of a 26 story building and we could see all over the city. Grandma took me for a ride on the cable cars. They certainly are interesting.

This morning Grandma took me to Golden Gate Park to the Academy of Sciences and the Aquarium. I certainly saw a lot in the aquarium. All varieties of goldfish bass perch salmon trout and pike. I also saw sole mackerel halibut sharks and all sorts of fish catfish and bullheads were there too. Then we went into the Academy of Natural Sciences. There ( Read more... )

Grandma took me to the University of California campus grounds which are right near here. It certainly is a big place and has many buildings. It certainly is swell. It has some fine examples of old architecture.

We got in to San Francisco at 815 am. I bid farewell to Lucky as he was going with his mother and sister Helen to Vallejo, and I was going to stay in San Francisco for 10 days before leaving for Illinois so I probably will never see him again - I have his address and he has mine so we can write to each other.
