i mean, obviously, you could put the war of 1812 in their with the british crap.
...how about when John Sullivan wrote the Manifest Destiny to explain the whole thing about American expansion across the US?
and in a way, the colonies weren't united until after the French and Indian War and after conflicts with Britain.
can't forget the Louisania Purchase!!
