in other news, this weekend is camping trip number 2 for the horrendously exhausting, tedious class i'm taking on thoreau. this time we get to camp on hawk mountain, in pennsylvania, where it's probably really cold.

i watched Solaris last night, the original Tarkovsky movie from 1972 and not the newer george clooney thing. it was a really long philosophical epic russian monster of a movie and i was completely destroyed after watching it. that makes tarkovsky movie number 3 for me. i think i need to see every movie he's ever made ( Read more... )
