every night this week someone, i dont know where but somewhere near my window has been really loudly playing the exact same annoying repetitive dance song with this loop of some guy singing and its pretty hilarious

i went to a poetry reading today in bethesda. it was funny. the head of the thing was a woman with cat glasses and coffee who used the word "liminal" like 7 times in a row, and lots of older women with hats and scarves and too much makeup, pronouncing "again" like "agayne" and "been" like, well, the way its spelled, and the guy near me snorted ( Read more... )

turns out we sat at table 42 at blues alley last night, theres something with table 42 at restaurants that i dont quite understand, but anyway kenny garrett was the man. the band was good and fun to listen to but kenny knows what he's doing.

that place is really expensive though, not exactly free refills.
