I found Princess Tutu The Complete Collection at JB-H5 today.

And I bought them.

So now I have all the Princess Tutu DVDs.

BASICALLY I AM ABOUT AS HAPPY AS I CAN POSSIBLY BE AT THIS MOMENT.

I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR THESE DVDS SINCE JULY OF LAST YEAR

AND I FINALLY FOUND THEM

Incredibly disjointed thoughts on the first half of the mammoth Black Lagoon arc (they're all Facebook tapeworms). You know, the one with the ninja maids.

( When I say disjointed, I mean, they're all Facebook comments and spread out over a period of three days. Basically I was reading this and trying to do my homework at the same time and just posted at random intervals, whenever I felt particularly moved. )

So the basic reaction to this chapter (which I’ve read because it was so incoherent it was entirely spoiler free) appears to be as thus:

“HOLY SHIT HOLY SHIT ON TOAST WITH SPRINKLES ON TOP AND A SIDE OF ORANGE MARMALADE!”

Therefore, as soon as I found a translation and a raw, I read it.

And. Uh.

Turns out I'm actually capable of writing fic as well. This particular piece is original fiction; I don't write very often, and haven't really got any new fanfic since I started actively posting on LJ (limited definitions of "actively", of course). My computer was recently resurrected (and now has 4 internal hard-drives. Yeah...) so that means you finally get to see what I've been drawing in the meantime--on TegakiE and leeching off other people's computers.

I'm halfway through episode 7 of Black Lagoon, and somehow I managed to find myself at the Tear Jerker page for Fullmetal Alchemist. The customary sniffles, wibbling, etc, and then I remembered this line from Roy:

I'm going to China for 20 days. Plane leaves for Korea in 11 hours. *jittery*

You know how some accounts--both personal and community--have it so that when you go into an entry/under the cut, it turns into the default LJ formatting (white, with the navbar up top, and the comments header in blue) instead of the custom style of the front page/recent entries page? And now I sound like Bella Swan, which is the absolute last thing I want. Having more personality than Bella isn't an aspiration--it's a given. It's like saying "humans ought to be smarter than sea slugs". Of course it doesn't always work.
