So, my director, the one I'm not wild about, told me this week that they are having more luck than expected hiring people onto the team at headquarters in Florida. Halloween Party Report
So, the boys and I went to a party we've been to quite a few years in a row. It's held by a couple that married late, and now have a 4-year-old, so it started out for grownups, and evolved into a family friendly affair. Summer wrapping up early
Well, probably the last hurrah of summer just occurred. I just brought my boys back from Boy Scout camp. The younger one did back packing, archery, cooking, and a variety of camping skills. Proud (of) Papa
I just listened to the traditional jazz jam band my Dad put together play a 90-minute set at the San Jose Jazz Festival. My 75-year-old dad played banjo ukulele, mostly doing rhythm. They played Louis Armstrong pieces, old standards from 1920's, and Dixieland music. The trumpet, clarinet and trombone were very strong, and the whole ensemble worked ( Read more... ) -
One of the problems with using messages in a bottle...
So...I got angry about a thread on someone's journal and their responses to my responses. It did not end well. I asserted harder, dialed down the congeniality, and wrote things I believed, but knew would not be well received.
