I have been editing like crazy lately on my play. My big goal is to get a staged reading at the Denver Center Performing Arts Center. That is my goal. So, in the past 3 days I have added 10 pages, to a fifty page script, and I still dont think its enough. This is the end. I have finished writing the rough draft. It is 52 pages long. I am unsure if I like the ending monologue. I want to add more, I like it as is, and I want to get rid of it all at the same time. Ideas?

Okay, newest installment. Feeling okay about this one, though overall I feel like I'm loosing touch with the characters and what needs to happen. I know in my mind where this needs to go, but I want my audience to connect with the characters enough for the climax to make an impact. Do you all feel connections to the characters, at all?
