We has new car!

Just picked up our shiny new VW Golf.  2.0 TDI.  Dual clutch gearbox.  Metallic silver.  Lots of nice little details like the VW sign at the back is the boot release, little shiny keyrings, red and purple dash illumination (my favourite colours), headlights that turn on automatically in tunnels, at night etc, even a bottle opener for the centre

Er metaphorically speaking. Altho, as it's more of my car than Rob's it should be more of a clitoral symbol :P

Cool bananas! Shiny things!

I looked at the VWs last year when I was car-hunting. I liked the Jetta myself but it was out of my price range.

I took the Shadow for servicing this morning, and lo and behold, Mazda are now making the 3 in a diesel model. I wish I'd been able to wait a year.
