I went along to a rehearsal to try out a new chamber choir on Tuesday night. They are very good and have a similar repertoire to Cantiucm. About 6 per voice part. They were all really lovely and the conductor is lovely too ( Read more... )

Yup. I'm in for the next concert. They seem to have a fairly constant membership and about 6 people per part. So, I guess after this concert it depends on whether the other sops come back. I think two of the sops had babies in the last few months.

I really miss Canticum at times. And the lovely Emily.

The audition went ok. I did better than I would have a couple of years ago but I still got nervous and forgot basic stuff like counting etc when sight reading.
