well the move went fairly well. my friend brigid helped me move my shit from banff on saturday and everything was fine till the very end, when i put gasoline in the diesel truck. luckily nothing major happened as far as i know and i think that they'll just have to empty the fuel tank and flush the fuel lines out. i don't think that the gas hit ( Read more... )

yay, i got the job i applied for! starting january 2, i'll be the stage carpenter for the grand culturehouse. plus, it's going to be a full-time gig instead of part time, which is good but it also definitely limits the amount of outside work i can do. it will be nice to not have to worry about finding work and re-establishing all my contacts ( Read more... )

i've been at my parent's place the last couple of days and it's been nice to be away from banff. i like the mountains, i like my work, but i absolutely loathe banff. i'm tired of living in a party town/tourist trap. it was alright for a while, but it would be nice to have a regular life at this point. i can't wait to get back to calgary ( Read more... )
