So I had my first audition yesterday at Gettysburg College. The aural and theory tests, fine, the interviews, pretty good, the playing....eh. I don't feel amazing about what I did. I cannot believe how immature some people are. It simply shocks me. There are so many conflicts and hurtful situations which could have been avoided if people stopped thinking about themselves and started to think about the big picture. I tend to categorize my life by the major even that's going on. For example, I'm currently ending the marching band chapter, and before that it was the Seussical chapter. The chapter I'm entering now is Preparing For Auditions, then the Musical/Auditions, then pure Musical, then College Acceptions/Rejections, and finally Graduation ( Read more... )

I feel like I have such a poor grip on time lately. In two weeks I will be returning to school, starting my senior year (even though I've barely started my summer work). So I got my liscense yesterday! And I drove by myself for the first time today to go to the orthodontist.

I love being 17!

Lots going on folks....

I miss you Laura....

I miss being in kindergarden and careless....the days on the playground...

Warren's coming home in 10 days at least...that gives me something to smile about...

So for me I feel like summer is almost over. I'm done with my job, Warren leaves Sunday, and band camp starts the week after...and dare I say I'm getting excited for school!

I'm gonna do well this year, and I've done well the past two years, but I'm going to do great this year...
