So, I'm sitting here at work and my cell phone rings. I look at the display and it's a number that I don't recognize, but it's a 217 area code, so I answer. I didn't recognize the person's voice and since they mispronounced my name, I knew it wasn't anyone I knew personally. So I asked who was calling. It was a fucking TELEMARKETER! Some bitch

OMG JONI, I would've been pissed too. I can't stand when they call my house and then you ask them not to call again, and then they do. I don't want to buy anything, I don't want to listen to your ramblin, I don't want to participate in your survey. I hate them too. If I get a call on my cell, I'm gonna be livid too..... Hey Joni.... there was an email going around with a link to a website for the cell phone do not call list. Sorry I don't have it now but you might want to find it if they are already calling you!

Let me start off by telling you something little miss thing. I used to be in the telemarketing biz and I wish I still was. I was the top salesman in our department for 8 straight months. I used to work overtime for free because I just loved it when people like you used to verbally abuse me and rudely hang up the phone on me. That did not stop the "salesman" in me because I would just call back. Even though I got fired for agressive tactics and I now have a new job as modivational speaker I still find myself randomly calling people out of the phone book and try to sell them anything that comes to my mind. So next time you decide to be rude remember this one thing...It matters to the person on the other end of the line..And it just might be me calling..

Dear Harry Balls....Telemarketers can all eat my asshole. Even though I, too, was a telemarketer of sorts, but even worse....In college I had to volunteer time to a political party for my poli-sci class(it during an election year). My job there was to make political phone calls. You wanna hear some angry, pissed off people? Call and ask them to support George W. Bush! Let's just say that someone yelling and hanging up was pretty much the NICEST way that people reacted.

We have all had shitty jobs. We've worked at McDonald's or a gas station. Been a telemarketer or a janitor. No matter what your doing though, unless you have you're own business, you're doing what you're told. I find telemarketers to be quite annoying. And it would upset me if they called my cell and used my minutes. At the same time, they're just following orders. Be mad at their boss that got them a bad list or whatever. If they annoy you that much, when they ask for you, tell them "she's dead" you'll be removed from all lists they have you on.
