heh, i love those old phoneboxes. i wish there were more of them: either British Telecom ripped them all up in favour of their advertisment-laden monstrosities, or there weren't many phoneboxes kicking around wayback. someone who lives by me COLLECTS THEM ON THEIR LAWN, haha! i'd like to go steal one in the night.
Your pictures make me so excited for Europe!! I love the first picture, and the duck picture, and most esp. the phone booth one! You look so happy! (: Also, I have never heard of a yum whippy cone, but it sounds so good, haha. Is Dovedale really far from Manchester (it looks really out in the country or something)?
Aw, you should be excited!! I think it will be a wonderful experience! I am so excited for you!! Hehe, 'yum whippy cone' made me giggle. I actually meant 'yummy', but i was being a little lazy with my typing/grammar! Whippy cone is a whippy ice cream in a waffle cone. Do you have whippy ice-creams over there? They may be a very British thing. If you come to Britain, make sure you get yourself a whippy cone with a flake, they are delicious :) Well, until September i am back in my hometown, so my journey didn't start in Manchester. Dovedale is about an hour drive from my hometown. It is in the Derbyshire Dales, which is part of the Peak District (very beautiful countryside). The Peak District, however, runs right from there up to very near Manchester (you can reach it in about 20mins from the city centre!). I absolutely love it at Dovedale, it is very peaceful and relaxing! xx
Aww i love dovedale, i wanted to go with graham and do a nikla-stu style adventure but it'd be a bit like driving halfway back to graham's really so we didn't go. That mrs shabir duck is sweeet:)
