It's Official
Tiberius is a cuddly dog now. Every morning when we wake up and every night when we go to bed, he insists on coming up on the bed to cuddle with us. Last night he fell asleep on my stomach and started doing those dog dreams, which was a weird sensation. Very twitchy. Back in California
I'm back in California this week. Last night I drove to Foothill Ranch and saw the wildfires glowing in the background. There is a Sheriff's department mobile command center in a Walmart parking lot I drove through, and the air smells heavily of smoke ( Read more... ) -

Weekend at the Library
I'm currently taking the Capstone Seminar in Political Science during the first summer session, and it's pretty intense. This weekend, I get to write a research paper on the ideological basis of the rise of fascism in Europe in the 1930s. Blah.
Those of you who ever see me will probably be doing so a little less in the next few weeks. -

I got back from Orange County okay last weekend. Before I left I went to an Apple Store in this big mall and looked around, then went and saw the IMAX version of 300.
I think we're going to San Francisco in July.

I've been in Orange County for a couple of days now. It's very much like a slightly warmer Indiana, with palm trees. However, the traffic isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and the hotel has free beer. Well, okay, it's Bud Light, but did I mention it's free ( Read more... )
