On Monday I'm going to California for a week to attend a class on Enterprise Architecture through CMU.

We finally got the sink installed, thanks to kellix installing the drain pipe and caulking the hell out of it.

We decided to fix the kitchen sink today. A shiny new sink, faucet, garbage disposal, spud wrench, drain assembly, a half dozen pieces of PVC, plumber's putty, joint compound, ball valve, 22-16 gauge barrel wire connectors, silicone caulk, rubber mallet, steel braided supply hoses, and a whole day stuck under the kitchen cabinets eating spider ( Read more... )

We saw Twelfth Night on Saturday. I really liked it. It was very entertaining. So far, I've been consistently pleased with the productions I've seen by the Department of Theatre & Drama.

Pan's Labyrinth. Not bad. And dark. I dig dark.

As of last weekend, kellix and I are free of credit card debt. Now we have to get some work done on the house and put in a fence.

...but it still takes about 8 hops to get to the IU gigapop. So, we got the speed, but we also got the latency. Sigh.

Insight just upgraded to 10mb down/1mb up. w00t!

Over the past few days I've noticed the speeds increase. Tonight I got 6.6mb/953kb and the other night I got 9.5mb/1.1mb. Maybe Insight has actually done something right for a change?
