Now, my journal says I only have ONE OF EACH entry but, when I go into my 'friends' link it shows double postings. I have no clue why. I only hit the update button once.

Please don't hit me! I surrender! I will try not to do it again!

when you want to change an entry, you can go to the original and hit the little button up top that has a pencil; it's for editing. If you copy and paste the entry into a new update, you will have to go back and delete the original. If you use the edit feature, it should automatically delete the old entry.
TO delete an entry, simply use the edit button and delete all the text (ALL the text including the subject line) then hit "update".

Is that the problem? Cuz if it isn't, maybe you should report the problem to LJ.

I am still learning--this is SO DIFFERENT from the place I was at for a few years. I am still learning so, keep giving me the heads-up on these things, okay?

I think I realized what I did--I posted it to each group, not realizing that it posted in the 'friends' area at the same time. Again, something new that I learned today and I won't do it again from here on.

I have been reading your posts in the autism community and I find them very interesting. I can relate to a lot of it.

My son is almost 7 years old and he is autistic. I have a little girl, 2 years old and she is not autistic but a genius. It can be very hard to balance these two at times. There are times that I feel like screaming due to frustration and such.

May I add you to my friends list? And do feel free to add me to yours.

I just went over to your journal as well and laughed so hard at your comments link! ADD A BIRD DROPPING!!! I used to live in the city when I was a kid--it reminded me of a warm summer day, thinking it was raining out when----well, you get the picture! :)

I can't handle 'normal'--I only do strange! So, we are going to get along just fine! :)
