Things definitely are looking up this week. I got a place on the conference, there are lots of useful books that I've discovered for my dissertation at Senate House, and my finances are somewhat healthier. Maybe I'm just a bit more happy and optimistic ( Read more... ) -
Feeling cross at myself
I've had a really bad week. Everything that has gone wrong has, or at least NOTHING has run smoothly. I followed some bad advice and feel like crap. And if my finances were to be summed up by a verb, that verb would be haemorrhaging. Mostly it's my own fault, I haven't been very sensible this week. I'm just waiting for the battery to re-charge. Unfortunately, the sony memory stick I ordered with it hasn't arrived yet- I forgot that amazon is a paragon of efficiency compared to other websites- but it has 56 MB of internal so thats about 20 photos. Enough to test it ( Read more... ) -

My essays are going very slowly. It isn't good.
The book from the 30's that I'm using in one essay has essentially fallen to pieces. Super. And I want to sellotape it back together only I can't find any.
