well, good news/bad news - it was the hard drive - so my new laptop will be good again, after I get the recovery discs from Toshiba...then I have to start all over again...might try to get a jump drive to recover from so I won't have to do this again ( Read more... )

just a quick update, and please tell me I haven't missed any b-days :s my new laptop, the one I bought in June, is in the shop...the hard drive, I think, has totally crapped out. Almost weekend! Actually, officially it is - I have an action-packed weekend too, my cousin from NJ is in town and we're going to the Nationals game tomorrow and the Giants game Sunday, I'll be sported out by the end of the weekend!
