So here's the scoop I got from my "agent". Mandy had something wrong with her vocal cords so she took time off as Megan filled in. Theu eventually decided Mandy's time off would be too long and blah blah so Megan OFFICIALLY HAS TAKED OVER THE ROLE OF EPONINE.

Megan McGinis is officially the new Eponine (im pretty sure- almost 100%) Mandy was let go. Her last show was Sunday.

Saw Les Mis last night  for the first time since its move from the Palace theatre. We sat in the middle of Row R of the stalls after buying 'best available' tickets off Lastminute.com for £29.50 + £1 booking fee. They are getting rid of Mandy Bruno. Auditions for Eponine were held May 30-31st and they will be re-casting.

I recently became aware that a video of Bruno and the new cast is available. Anyone here have it and care to post a short teaser clip on YouTube?

Ok, last weekend I was in NYC and went to the Saturday matinée of Les Miserables. I sat in the front of the Mezzanine, which were surprisingly good seats. Immediately I opened my Playbill to discover that Lea salonga was not going to be performing. Needless to say, I was PISSED. Anyways, I calmed down when the show started. Just saw Mandy Bruno as Eponine last week. Celia can run circles around Mandy. Sure Mandy wasn't AWFUL but she couldn't belt. She didn't put as much passion into.  She wasn't as cutesy as Diana (yick) but still...Celia is one of my favourites and compared to her, Mandy is nothing. But still she did reasonable.
