So eventually, after two trips to the store for more ingredients, I stopped and counted all those bananas, at which time I had 36 left. (I had already used 14 in the first four loaves.) My aunt seems to have asked every relative between 12 and 58 to help serve. O_o She was also very very concerned about whether we needed a particular ratio of sherbert to ginger ale for the punch, so I took over that job to settle her down.

On the road again
After a week in which I drove 1000 miles to attend class, the last thing I want to do with my Saturday is drive another 100 miles. But it's my aunt & uncle's 60th anniversary party, & they requested my sisters & I help serve cake & punch (they only have sons), so I'd better be there.

This week's class
The bad news is, after driving two hours to get here, we also have to hike between buildings for meals and breaks. The good news is, I can now threaten these whippersnappers with my cane. -
Crossover
So, a few months ago Acorn and I decided to play Plants Versus Zombies on my computer, for the first time in years. (We'd each played occasionally on my iPad, but not on my computer.) So I had to redownload the game, including all updates… and there was a new feature.
