Oh no I was about to go to bed and I suddenly got reminded of If You Are Prepared by cybele for the first time in ages. The heartbreak is still real. I literally have never read a story, fanfic or original, that tore me apart so badly.

So now I get to think about that while trying to sleep.

I know I hardly ever use this journal anymore (I still have stuff I want to update about, like my last two amazing summers) but right now I just absolutely need to talk about how much I love Matthew Schuler on The Voice. Which is a show I don't even really watch! Or didn't until I saw his performance of Florence + The Machine's "Cosmic Love".

Yay another toothache that's making it impossible for me to sleep.

Always fun to be reminded that I either have to pay thousands of dollars and endure hours of surgery or else have this reminder of the worst period in my life actively make my life awful as more than just a terrible memory.

My current plan:

get my license, get a car, then just move pretty much anywhere I can find even a remotely decent job, hopefully in some capacity working with history, museums, and/or dressing in costume.

This is pretty much all I care about right now. The "moving to England" part is still my ultimate life goal but I can chill on that for a while
