Today I cried.

I cried because I'm a selfish, hypocritical, self-righteous, self-important, cynical, unmotivated, undisciplined, pathetic, untalented, unintelligent bastard.

But realizing the problem is the first step to recovery.

I just spent hours and hours listening to Mickey by Toni Basil over and over and reading through the xkcd archives.

So why the hell do I feel so content?

God, I love life.

Sure, it sucks sometimes, but it is a damned good ride.

All last weekend I was in New Orleans. And I adored it. New Orleans is no New York City; NYC will always hold a special place in my heart. I have a definitive love affair with NYC and it is my favorite city on Earth. But New Orleans is different, something even more special.
