It's done. I can't turn back now. I've sent in my letter, and received my first training assignment. There's no turning back now. Of course I'm being melodramatic. If I'm not cut out to be an Unspeakable, I'll know it, and won't be required to finish the training.

We've got telly at home, because Mum likes her BBC dramas. Late at night they show a lot of older movies (not BBC themselves, but a few of the channels) and one night I caught Monty Python and the Holy Grail. For some reason, in Runes today that popped into my head, and now I can't get "Help, help, I'm being repressed!" out of of my head.

There aren't a great many things that are better than Honeyduke's best. Nana's homemade butter toffee is one of them. That she uses insane quantities of Honeyduke's chocolate only makes it better. She sent me an entire box.

I think I shall grow fat, eating toffee and doing homework. Look for me in the hospital wing, due to overindulgence.
