Miami Vice
Go Watch it. I've always loved Micheal Mann movies - three of my all time favs are his (Heat, Ali, Collateral) and Miami Vice is just as good. The man can direct - grainy camera work, geting right up next to the shooter, slowing down or speeding up at the right moments, showing conventional things in unconventional ways.
