I've become somewhat of an elitist since getting this job. I don't think 'luck' had anything to do with me getting it, so maybe that's why.

It's a great gig though.. I was hired at a level below management, so I can't complain! Time to find out if being a Technical Writer is really what I want to do.

One semester to go... I have an interview for an unpaid internship today, but I'm desperate because I need it for a credit requirement.

NJIT did tell me that I can find something full-time, but no one in my area is hiring. I'm not going to commute to NYC or Jersey City from Trenton.

So I just found out that CA won't be doing an intern program in the Spring. I've applied to a few places through NJIT's shit internal system, but no responses yet. So, looks like I'm never graduating from this shithole.

It's been about three weeks and it's getting much easier to cope with this. I basically have tried to go back to some kind of 'normal' and so far it's working out ( Read more... )

Well, this week has been hell for me and my family. It's been taking a lot to just accept the fact that my father died. He was a great man, loved by many, and the support we have received has been wonderful. There's lots of things that still need to be done.
