Gosh I've not been here for so long I feel quite disoriented.
I overslept today - woke up at 9.40 when I should have been in work by 9. I could tell when I awoke that it had been a while since the alarm had gone off... but bloody hell ... even I was amazed at my propensity to sleep in. It's dead at work at the mo with no students and almost as few colleagues around so yesterday me and Rebecca from work decided to go on a reconnaissance mission to decide on some trips for this year. Got back from a week away yesterday and put my washing in the washing machine (no black Tshirts left) but it wouldn't turn on. Poo! Don't say I'd have to buy a new washing machine!

Birthday plans postponed- Boo!
Why? Because Bifest is on 21st July too - Yay!
And what the heck is Bifest? It's no less than "Manchester's biggest bi community event of the year"

Gonna be having some sort of party on Sat July 21st for my birthday.
Plans so far involve:
Outside party in early eve turning into sleepover
Barbecue

The wonderful world of exam week
Unless you're a teacher you'll never have known and will never know this other-world phenomenon that they call exam week. You think you know all about exams - you were a student ... but oh no, you think students hate exams?... ask a teacher...students just have to scribble for an hour or two then go home.
