After listening to a radio announcer mispronounce a word yet again yesterday, I have decided that it is my new mission to come up with a list of what I call "Verbal Pet Peeves." Saw Billy Joel last night (floor seats are SUCH fun), and noticed something was different about him at the concert. Granted, the man is getting closer to 60, but something seemed a bit off. Thanks for all of your well-wishes, everyone. I'm doing pretty well right now. Didn't need the crutches or painkillers today, which is a major plus. Survived the surgery quite nicely. A little inflamed and swollen, etc., but not much pain associated with it at the moment. I'll deal.

Little bit more than 12 hours from now I get to have the surgery. I've been so busy getting things ready for my sub at school that I haven't even had to think about it too much, which is nice.
