I resigned. On to the next adventure.

After a bizarre morning, I've gone to HR & asked for help drawing up a resignation letter. Have been talking to one of the women up there, she and my department head want to try and "save me" somehow. Should be a riot. The letter isn't formally submitted but I don't see this working out for them... updates as news develops.

I haven't posted in a while, and since I've apparently wrecked my sleep schedule for the evening by taking a nap this afternoon that went on too long, I might as well use a little bit of time to update those watching this space on what I have going on over the last couple months.

A few years ago, after I had been in Wichita about four months and things were really not going well (or at least, I felt pretty poorly about my situation here) I wrote some things on some note cards to try and remember goals that mattered and some sayings for myself to try and keep things in perspective. I have this feeling about my upcoming move like I'm jumping into the deep end with no idea what is really waiting for me but that I've always wanted to swim at that end of the pool anyway. Alright, so last week I had an interview in Philadelphia with an aerospace company, and overall I think it went well. It was my first interview since being laid off from Cessna, and I wish I had gotten something going sooner, but this is an okay start. Can't stop thinking. Sitting here, not feeling positive, need to get out, no where to go. Feeling very frustrated with many things in my life right now.
