I watched Borat on Friday night and didn't find it funny at all. Humour that resorts to racial stereotypes to get a laugh is the lowest of the low, in my opinion. At best, it makes me uncomfortable and at worst it makes me want to leave the cinema. If someone made a film like that about a Chinese person, for example, there'd be a massive outcry. I am enforcing a self-imposed ban on writing entries that are more than five lines long during the working week. I must procrastinate less and work more.

I can't believe that people mix up Australian and New Zealand accents. They pronounce their vowels completely differently. It's not that they elongate them, or shorten them, it's that they are completely different. So six comes out like sex, and step comes out as stip. I personally find it quite comical. Good grief, today makes new records in the art of procrastination. The insoluble metal oxide from period 3 is aluminium oxide, by the way.

I would like to point out for posterity's sake that on this day, February 18 2007, I realised that the name of my journal is a literary reference, albeit a somewhat clumsily/pointlessly translated one.

Now that's over with, does anyone know which period 3 metal oxide is not soluble in water? 'Cos that's why I'm pro-cras-tin-at-in', babe.

I don't get tea and coffee. Everyone says I'm too young, but I know plenty of people my age who drink either or both, though more commonly coffee. But the problem with coffee is that it just tastes so bad. I used to be put off by the smell, but even when I tried drinking it it was absolutely disgusting, even after dumping in sugar.
