A lot has happened since I was last here.

I did get that PhD. I did get that tenure-track job, which I am now leaving this month. I got kids (twins!). I got married. I bought a house that I am now selling. I am moving for a job for the second or third time. All of this not in that exact order.

It recently occurred to me that if I did ever go out on a date with a man who was not married, I wouldn't have the slightest idea of what to say.

You know, I used to be able to fuck all night.

Anthony and I talked about this. He made me feel hopeful about my situation, though. He said, "Women usually wane in their mid 20s and then pick up again in their 30s."
