Thank you so much! That's interesting, if pretty cryptic, but that was to be expected.

It was funny in a very embarassing way.

... that's true, there haven't been so many new arrivals lately. None that were visible on the network, anyway.

(OOC: Roger! Thanks OOCly, too. xD ♥)

Yes, of course, you're very welcome! I just wish I had more to offer. I'd thought I'd written more than that about her, but I went through and scoured my journal and I can't seem to find where I mentioned it. Of course, when you speak with Cain about his notes, I'm sure I'll likely turn up in there sooner or later, so perhaps that's where it was, after all.

I imagine it was, for the people that were cursed.

That's odd, don't you think? Normally we have people falling into the fountain every few days, it seems like. But now lots of people are leaving and it doesn't seem as though many are coming.

[OOC: No problem! ♥]

Thanks, anyway! I'll definitely speak to him. So you've discussed this kind of thing with him?

Yeah.

Pretty odd. Wonder what's up with that... maybe they are preparing something for the end of the year, after all.

We have something of a habit of talking about the curses as they come up, yes. And that one in particular, I recall being quite upset about, and so if it's not somewhere in my journal, then there's a good chance it's in his.

Oh, honestly, I hope not. It's just getting into the holiday season, there's no reason to prepare something great and awful and spoil it all...

Alright, so I'll ask him. No wonder you were upset about that one...

I'm just saying that I heard that the end of the year sometimes gets up something extra, a little out of the ordinary. I certainly hope that it won't be the case, too.

I'm sure he'll be glad to oblige.

Well, I've only been through one December thus far, but there were the zombies last year, so perhaps there's something to that, after all. I suppose it'll be much like October, though; we can make all the patterns and predictions we want, but in the end the only way to know will be to see for ourselves.

I hope so! So far he's been quite courteous when we did talk.

Ahh, well. So we'll go through November anticipating December and what it might bring.

And if he isn't glad to oblige, though I can't imagine why he wouldn't be, just let me know and I'll pester him about it.

Unfortunately. I think I'll go through anticipating Christmas and the holidays, and have something nice to look forward to, instead.

Certainly. I will do that!

Ah, right, Christmas... that too.

Do you celebrate Christmas back home, Rin?

No. Never heard of it before I came here, in fact.

Really? That's a shame. Did you have any sort of celebration in the winter months, then, or...?

New Year's. In fact, it's the most important event of the year at home.

Oh, how lovely! Does your new year fall on the same new year as everyone else's, or is yours one of the ones that comes on a different day?

Depends on who "everyone else" is...

Well, we use the Lunar Calendar. So our New Year is the same as the Chinese.

...Oh. Wasn't that the one--no, perhaps not. Well, that's good!
