In honor of the new Britney video HOLD IT AGAINST ME coming on Thursday I decided to do a couple posts with all her previous videos (because I love them so)
Gimme More (2007)
It isn't that bad of a song, but it's gotten quite a bad rap for all the drama that surrounds it. First there was the 'comeback performance' and the VMAs which went horribly wrong when it became obvious that Britney wasn't ready for a live performance and she wasn't comfortable on-stage, dancing, singing, or in her clothes. She looked awkward (and to be honest, a little over-weight for what she was wearing) and she left the stage in a hurry, presumably in tears. Then she landed herself in the hospital on a 5150, got the help she needs and her father was put in charge of her assets.
Piece of Me (2007)
A perfect song and video. It won Britney her first Moon Man, which I'm sure everyone was shocked that it was her first. It showed she was back the following year at the VMAs, after the disaster that was her performance the year before.
Break the Ice (2007)
I'm not really one for animated videos (unless they're from the Gorillaz), but this one is fun. It's almost like a continuation of the Spy Girl persona of Toxic.
