Was at a nice Birthday party last night at one of Bern's "City Beaches", only left because it started to rain and I, infortunately, had to catch the last train back to Basel.

Since I got a shitload of time at the moment, I thought it might be a nice idea to explore my new hometown Basel instead of just sitting around at home.

Finished typing

Anyway, the spring term is over (only one last paper to hand in at the end of June) and I finally get the chance to sort through my stuff...
I have since moved to Basel, left most of my furniture behind - except for my bed, bedside table and 2 commodes (and TV of course!) I still have a lot of boxes to unpack and check ( Read more... ) -

Btw, I really like France and Italy this year, both standing out between all those pop and dance titles. And Iceland too! =) -
Visit to the Hindu temple and synagogue
This week we had the last 2 excursions to places of worship of different religions, all for a course I'm taking - and tonight's visit was the highlight! :) We went to a Hindu temple and could also take part in the evening service, we even received the light/fire blessing as well as an ash sign on the forehead. anyone in the mood to help me a bit with translations from German to English I need to do for one of my English classes? I merely need someone to take a look and check whether it's okay (from those pesky typing errors to sentence structure)
Doesn't need to be perfect when I hand it in, just a bit better than at the moment. ;)
