As morbid as it sounds, I've wanted to experience a death while at Hospice or on the floor. In the past 24 hours, I've got both. Last night, I was at the hospital and they brought a gentleman from the ICU. He was DNR (do not resc.. rescu... um, no CPR)and had his ventilator discontinued.
