So I figure that since my new spawn has been around for almost two weeks now, I should get off my ass and post some pictures.

Congrats! She reminds me of a little fuzzy peach.

Also, Ivy is a great name. Unique, but normal enough that people don't look at you funny when you tell them.

My current career choice is leaning to go into nursing with labor and delivery. Screaming mothers and screaming babies! Yeah!

Sorry about not getting this in sooner. I've been busy studying for finals which I'll be finishing up the next two days. However, I popped by to see if anything new had come out and saw this! Great news.

And she's so cute :) (hard to believe she's capable of so much suffering-enduring ;)). Ivy's a nice name too given your earlier troubles with that - unique but not needlessly attention-drawing.

Reminds me that I'll want to start my own brood in a while. But that likely won't be for a long time - after I'll have to find a Mrs. Nivenus first ;). Anyhow, best of luck in parenting though I'm sure the first one went a long ways in preparing you for this one.

Oh wow--that last pic she looks soooo precious! Not that she doesn't look precious in all of 'em, but particularly precious there, and at the one where she's practicing her roller-coaster riding skills.

I think she favors you. Whoever said it was the set of her mouth had something. And Ivy is a lovely name. Not whacked-out, not overused, and not a disney princess or stolen by crazy Angelina Jolie.
