Well I managed to bang out some more words last night when Rachel went to go workout.

I've gotten to a section where I'm trying to write some horror elements, so I'm reading over Brian Lumley's Necroscope series to get a feel for it. Honestly, I've never been freightened by any book, but what's transpiring and will for the next 15 pages of writing ( Read more... )

I got a good amount done today, somewhere around 10 manuscript pages. I finally got to write something from a villian's point of view, which was a lot more fun then I thought it would. He's such a supreme ass (and sadly, I think funnier then I thought) I'm not sure what to make with him. He has a certain sardonic wit about him that I find funny ( Read more... )

Rachel and walked down to the Northbeach street fair today. Haven't had a chance to write today, but I'm beat and I think I'll take a nap, and try getting my words out after that.

I had hoped that I would reach a certain point today in the story where the main character leaves Rorian.

I didn't, god I tried though.

The story became much deeper then I excepcted, yet better.

I'm struggling to finish to this section.

I write another 2 thousand words today.

I believe this brings me to around 32 thousand words.

Well I wrote a ton today. I got up early and listened to music and wrote about 20 pages. This chapter won't in, it's now about 40 pages long, and has at least 10 more pages. I think I'm going to have to reorganize the chapters, as the breaks I thought would exist just haven't ( Read more... )

Rachel got tired after we went and saw Angels and Demons and fell assleep. After reading over Elizebeth Moon's blog about her writing of the new Paksenarrion novel (or I should say, novel in that universe about Duke Phelan) I got the writing bug and wrote the rest of the Ordeals that Alek(Alisander) was going through during the tourney section.
