Today was quite possibly one of the worst day in my life. Murphy was in top form today. My car had a flat. By the time I reached the university, I realized all the papers I had graded had been left on the dining room table. I got those just to run out of gas. I had to walk to get fuel and a semi splashed water on me, so I had to change clothing ( Read more... )

There was a power surge last night while I was working on revisions of the children's book I'm working on with Tooyama-kun. I lost everything. My notes and everything else. I'm on my phone right now because my harddrive has been fried. All that valuable data, gone. At least I have my hard copies. My notebooks are irreplaceable at times like this.

The one time I regret that I stopped having 12 or 13 pairs of glasses. I guess I knocked them off the stand in my sleep. I woke up this morning and I got out of bed and I sort of stepped on them.

I'm going to see if I can find some tape.
