My grandfather (mother's father) died at 1:30 this morning.  He was the greatest, most giving man I knew (besides my father, of course).  I had no warning, I've never had anyone in my family die.  I didn't get to thank him enough for everything he's done for me, and he won't get to see the fruits of his gifts.

Wednesday:

• drove to Milwaukee
• tailgated
• saw the Phillies play the Brewers
• hung out with some of my favorite boys
• drove home.

Andy and Willie are my saviours. They understand why I'm upset, and don't make me feel silly, like tonight. I feel like nobody understand the difference between a house and a home, but for me they are huge. I like in a house now, but I really miss my home... and Andy... just 2 months until he arrives... I love him.

Did I make the wrong choice? Should I be going to grad school in musicology? I'm good at this. I can do this. My professor's have a great amount of respect for me. I enjoy studying music.

The last week I've been feeling really shitty because I've realized that I've been blowing my friends off way too much lately. So, I've realized that in fact Music Civ will be the most BORING CLASS EVER for me. It will be a severely dumbed down version of a class I already took.
