I have been so so busy... Things at the shop are taking off!!!!! I'm being mainlined into tattooing, and the plan is that within a year, I can take over the tattoo part of the shop in place of my mentor so he can move back to Oregon. Wow, my first gig, and already being set up to be lead artist... That's really something.

I feel like I live at the shop. I'm not complaining, just very very tired. I have been reading my friend's page whenever I get a minute, but that just isn't happening very often, so I am so sorry for my lack of comments, I hope you understand. My very first tattoo machine experience. I feel sorry for this grapefruit. My mentor said I did exceptionally well though, so I’m super proud of that. He was impressed with my linework.

Well, I survived. :D Yay me. The doctor worked surprisingly fast, and I only felt the anesthetic shots, and then I felt the last two stitches go in slightly. I know it's a bit strange that I am scared to death of needles considering the fact that I am covered in tattoos, but for some reason, that is different. I am paranoid about the stitches... Today was pretty uneventful. I went shopping for food. I was lazy. I was lazy some more. Tomorrow is the day that is going to suck... In the morning I go in to have some sadistic doctor cut me open with a scalpel. I have been dreading this for three weeks. I have to have a mole cut out of my abdomen and checked for cancer... I have noticed that while there is plenty of tattoo art out there that depicts beautiful women, there really isn't a whole hell of a lot that show us TRUE femininity. This saddens me because of the fact that if you look around you now in the tattoo community, there is almost more women than there are men now getting significant work done. Well, I couldn't wait, I've decided to go up a day early. Packing today and leaving in the morning. I got the room for an additional day, so I won't be back around here until Thursday evening sometime.
